Our story
Hi! I’m Hannah Hinrichs, the owner and baker of Little Sister Bakery. We are a home-based bakery located in the Brainerd Lakes Area, specializing in gluten-free desserts made with precision and care.
My baking journey began when I joined the team at Knotty Pine Bakery. Over the course of six incredible years, I surrounded myself in the art and science of baking, perfecting my skills and discovering my passion for creating delicious and memorable baked goods.
While working there, I noticed there was something missing in our community — Gluten-free options. Being Gluten Intolerant myself, I gathered my best gluten-free recipes and started baking for a panel of judges (my lucky family). With their feedback, I refined my recipes, ensuring that every bite was just as good–if not better–than traditional wheat-filled treats.
That’s how Little Sister Bakery was born: a gluten-free, home-based bakery that ensures no one has to miss out on life’s sweetest moments. From cupcakes and cookies to custom cakes for any celebration, every item is handcrafted with high-quality ingredients and a commitment to flavor and texture.
As a little sister, I know firsthand how crazy siblings can make you—but they also pushed me to strive for the best and reach my dreams. They are the heart of Little Sister Bakery.
